Custom designs, copyright and resale

These terms apply to artwork, photographs, logos, text and other content you upload or supply to Cardmate for a custom frame or display.

Your content and permissions

You are responsible for the content you submit. By submitting it, you confirm that you own it or have all permissions and licences needed for Cardmate and its production providers to reproduce it on your order, and for your intended use of the finished product, including resale where applicable. Do not submit content that infringes another person's copyright, trade marks or other rights.

Ownership of designs

You retain any intellectual property rights you already own in your original content. Uploading, arranging or customising third-party artwork, logos, characters or photographs does not make that material yours or transfer the owner's rights to you. Buying a frame or display does not transfer rights in Cardmate's branding, templates or product designs, or in third-party material.

Permission to fulfil your order

You give Cardmate and its production providers permission to use and reproduce your submitted content only as reasonably necessary to prepare, manufacture and fulfil your order and resolve order-related issues. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or authorise its use in advertising.

Resale and commercial use

You are responsible for checking and obtaining any permissions needed to advertise, distribute or resell your customised products, and for complying with the laws that apply to your activities. Cardmate manufacturing your order is not confirmation that your design is legally cleared, officially licensed or approved for resale. We do not grant a resale licence for third-party content or endorse your resale listings.

Responsibility and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, Cardmate is not responsible for claims arising solely from your unauthorised use of customer-supplied content or your independent advertising, distribution or resale activities. This does not exclude or limit responsibility for Cardmate's own acts or omissions, or any liability, consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not remove the rights of copyright or trade mark owners.

Content concerns

We may request evidence of permission or decline to reproduce content where we reasonably believe it may infringe another person's rights. If you believe content used on a Cardmate product infringes your rights, contact info@cardmatehub.com.au with details of the content and your rights so we can investigate.

Cardmate frame designs and your finished product

Cardmate retains all intellectual property rights it owns in its frame designs, construction, branding and templates. Your purchase is of the finished physical product; it does not transfer these intellectual property rights or grant permission to manufacture copies of our protected designs. We do not claim ownership of original artwork you supply. Third-party rights remain with their respective owners.

Design approval

Please check your artwork, spelling, layout and selected frame before submitting your order. Approval of a preview confirms your design choices; it does not establish copyright ownership or permission to use third-party material. Your rights if an item is faulty or does not match the approved order remain unaffected. See our Return and Refund Policy.
